Tell us about what you do at Ardent?

I take care of the marketing at Ardent. Working closely with the management, we work on building our brand and getting our name out there. I am proud of the work we do and the client projects our teams deliver, and I want to showcase that to the world.

What does your typical day look like?

Every day is different, some days I focus on email marketing, some days on social media, and some days I write content for our blog or cover the amazing work our tech team do on our client projects. I love the whole marketing mix, no two days are the same and it makes work enjoyable.

You only joined recently, how was the process of settling in?

I joined in September 2021, and the transition from working fully remotely to full-time in the office was a refreshing change. I enjoy coming into the office and having a set routine. The team were welcoming, and I felt like I fitted in quite well, quite quickly.

What do you most value about the Ardent culture?

As part of my role at Ardent, I have to communicate with a variety of people across the business. The great thing about working here is how easy it is to approach anyone, whether that is the tech team to get an insight into a project or the management to get their opinion on marketing activities.

What’s something you are most proud of achieving since you have been at Ardent?

Since I joined the company, we have completely re-launched the Ardent website. It was a long process with many challenges, but the result was worth it. We now have a stunning website in which we can present the incredible work our teams do.

What are you most looking forward to?

We have now established our foundation when it comes to marketing at Ardent. I want to explore multiple channels to see what works best for us. What I love about marketing is that we have such a huge variety of platforms to utilise, and I look forward to doing that.

We are also looking to expand our marketing team and I look forward to building a team that will bring the brand the recognition it deserves.

What led you to a career in Marketing?

I studied English and journalism at university but I was not sure what route I wanted to take for my career. I found my previous role in Marketing as an assistant and loved it. I have been working in marketing for almost five years and look to improve and develop my skills further with Ardent.

How did you find your way to Ardent?

With a good level of experience behind me, I was ready to take on a new challenge. I saw potential in what I could do at Ardent and took the chance and I’m so glad I did. I have the best of both worlds, working independently as well as working as part of the whole Ardent team.

Who are you when you’re not at Ardent?

When I am not a Senior Market Executive, I am a baker, a traveller and a reader. I bake for every occasion, I thoroughly enjoy travelling, exploring new places and meeting new people and I love to sit with a cup of tea and a great book to unwind.
